HELL, IT’S ABOUT TIME!

StarCraft II continues the epic saga of the Protoss, Terran, and Zerg. These three distinct and powerful races will clash once again in the fast-paced real-time strategy sequel to the legendary original, StarCraft. Legions of veteran, upgraded, and brand-new unit types will do battle across the galaxy, as each faction struggles for survival.

StarCraft 2 was announced in 19 may 2007, almost 2 years ago And was believed that the realease date will be somewhere in 2008. Blizzard never gaved us the release date… Only said that they will release StarCraft II “When it’s done”

Besides that they said that

“At this point, it’s too early to provide an initial estimate on the release date. As with all Blizzard Entertainment games, we will take as much time as needed to ensure the game is as fun, balanced, and polished as possible.”

Soo… StarCraft 2 will be:

• Fast-paced, hard-hitting, tightly balanced competitive real-time strategy gameplay that recaptures and improves on the magic of the original game
• Three completely distinct races: Protoss, Terran, and Zerg
• New units and gameplay mechanics further distinguish each race
• Groundbreaking single-player campaign
• Vibrant new 3D-graphics engine with support for dazzling visual effects and massive unit and army sizes
• Full multiplayer support, with new competitive features and matchmaking utilities available through Battle.net
• Full map-making and scripting tools to give players incredible freedom in customizing and personalizing their gameplay experience

Let’s take single paragraph and analize it… So tightly balanced competitive real time strategy gameplay… I think everyone of you who is reading this post played StarCraft or if not, at least heard about the game… A very balanced game indeead (talking here about the Brood War because we all know that StarCraft Original had the Terrans be the worst race you could play with). After more than 10 years after the game was released there are still competitions out there… And even plenty of them. And were talking about a very very old game but still extreamly exciting!

StarCraft 2 will come with not only fresh maps, a fresh new “vibrant” 3D graphics engine that will have DirectX 10 support for dazzling effects, but StarCraft II will have the same balanced races: ZERG, PROTOSS AND TERRAN, and now with serveral new units that will place their foot into the EPIC BATTLE and last but not least a improved gameplay in both singleplayer and multiplayer.

So let’s see…

Terran

The first thing I noticed about the Terrans was a new ability they have implemented into the Supply Depots. We all remember the times we put supply’s in from of our exits to prevent the enemy from entering dirrectly into our base right? Well… Now we have the ability to burry the supply so that our troops won’t be blocked inside as what happend in StarCraft So that’s one plus point for Blizzard.

First we notice that BattleCruiser That not only has the Yamato cannon but now you can research a new type of weapon: The Plasma torpedoe, that give battlecruisers an armament capable of saturating a target area with a lethal deluge of fire, ideal for breaking up oncoming attack waves or ravaging a defensive position. As you have seen that mayhem which was unleashed over the marines

Soo… Other new units will be: Reaper, AH/G-24 Banshee, Viking, Thor, TF-620 Nomad, and a new building: Sensor Tower… Besides that all kind of new addons to the old building and the ability to burrow “upgrades” from one building to another… :d

PROTOSS

New units: Immortal, Stalker, Phase Prism, Phoenix, Colossus, Warp Ray, Twilight Archon, Mothership

StarCraft – BroodWar (Offence is the best defence? No! Protoss Canon & Corsair are the best defence! ) Hihi

I won’t talk much for the Protoss, i will let the gameplay video to do that for me… But i would like to say that besides the Carrier now we have another SuperShip -> The MotherShip

Today i’ll write only about computer games… Actually i’ll write only about Blizzard Entertainment’s games (all the important series exception will make World of WarCraft, i don’t like that game… If you will still want something to be written about i will ask HUN73R to write some impresions… He’s a big WoW maniac!
Anyhow… I am a very big fan of the StarCraft series… I used to play StarCraft A LOT!! A lot means that i was going at the internet caffe and spending around 10 hours day playing StarCraft on blizz It was a lot of of fun! I sometimes really miss that period…
For those of you who don’t know what StarCraft is… SHAME ON YOU!!! It’s the game that made history in Real Time Strategy, the game that is still played by thousands of people (and it was the game of 1999, so after 10 years they still play it). It’s the game that you can call it 100% original, and the game that actually makes you smarter by playing it (of course if you understand it)… The Berkeley University, Canada even made an optional class that will teach people how to play StarCraft, how to be a good commander and how to apply StarCraft strategies in every-day life… That’s something… If you don’t belive me and want to watch the first lesson… Just play it below! Soo… The good news in the latest period was the Blizzard Announcement of StarCraft II -> HELL, ITS ABOUT TIME! <-, that game that i would probably pre-comand

I was looking in my documentes and i found out some things i made last year after the Blizz Announcement… Some things related to StarCraft I wanted to trick some of my friends that i really had the game with a looong time before it appear so… I started first in making a “original” DVD cover, that i think it’s very realistic, it really looks realistic on the DVD… Some of my friends after i tricked me were thinking that it would be funny if the original STARCRAFT II release would have my cover…

How would that be possible? Simple… Let me tell you what i have done AFTER i’ve tricked all my friends… Well… Simple… I wanted to trick mooore ) So i sent the DVD to Blizz (WTF?!? HOW COULD YOU DO THAT? YOU’LL GO IN JAIL), well… tried my luck… Wasn’t lucky… They didn’t respons with anything, and i haven’t sent only the DVD cover, it was so much more:

1. DVD cover (i will upload it in a minute)

2. DVD print (yeah… i bought a dvd lightscribe and drew onto the dvd, it look like the Diablo original cd )

3. I’v made StarCraft II installer… (WTF DID YOU DO?) Simple… Made the installer… I will upload that in a minute too..

4. And fourth… I have send them a letter, i will upload that too…

I’m sort of sad that after almost a year i still didn’t get any respons from them… Not even a: “HAHA! That was a good one! ” ((((((
