Created for Tribal DDB, Amsterdam, the interactive campaign — which launches today at cinema.philips.com — promotes Philips’ latest entrant into the television market, the CINEMA 21:9. Since the television’s 21:9 frame lends itself so readily to film, Tribal DDB, Amsterdam commissioned Stink Digital to create a piece of filmed content that could hold its own with Hollywood’s best. Stink Digital director Adam Berg responded with an idea for an epic ‘frozen moment’ cops and robbers shootout sequence that included clowns, explosions, a decimated hospital, and plenty of broken glass, bullet casings and money.

The film, titled Carousel, is the centrepiece of the project. On its own, it clocks in at a (totally coincidental) two minutes and 19 seconds, but Berg conceived it to work as an endless loop. Visitors to the microsite therefore have the option to ‘spin’ through the film’s single take shot repeatedly, to stop on a specific frame, or to watch it at the preordained speed. The film also contains embedded hotspots, which, when triggered, transport the viewer seamlessly from the heavily posted film to a behind-the-scenes version of the same shot. This constant moving between two layers of reality proved one of the project’s biggest and most ambitious production challenges. Other details of the online execution play off the cinematic theme; the microsite’s loader doubles as a credit sequence, while rich media takeover banners drive traffic to the site by teasing viewers with an original Carousel trailer.

I often play DotA. Started playing since 2003 so i could be told i’m a veteran. I’m a good player can’t say i’m a Beyond Godlike player because i didn’t played all the time DotA, had some pauses, and don’t play very often, ussually i play only if my friends are only. Friends with which we form a clan (Romanian War Lords – ROWL),  we play on Garena, i played DotA a lot on Battle.net, and after that i moved to Garena, but i’m a Garena (GG Client) registered member for a very very very long time, but with not so many active game I’m only lvl 16 now… But i’m growing fast ;;)

Anyhow… A lot of people play DotA but I can bet not a lot of people heard some DotA Theme Songs, songs made almost all of them by Devils Urethra.  Basshunter made a DotA song, intitled -  Vi sitter i ventrilo och spelar DotA.

… Hmm… And yes… It’s a true story… And people ask us what he haved with gipsys… Hmm… Never seen a good example! Really!

And the most important fact is not knowing to make a game, but making a cool game, having that spark of imagination that will finally transform in a wonderfull gameplay…

Yeah… I like games! Maybe someday i’ll make cool games too Until then i think i’ll make a small widget here to play some games… Some of the cool games that are available there on the web

It’s a fantastic game if you ask me… Because of the “ideea”, the ideea of having portals and teleport anywhere in sight gives endless posibilities… And Portal has some really nice mind blowing levels that you have to pass :d I highly recomend Portal to anyone who has the IQ over 100

And until you buy Portal, you can try the flash version of the game Which is very nice too, but has 2D graphics But still very nice “mazes”

I was a little gone this days, actually didn’t post a lot… Don’t really have the energy to post to much things anymore… But i think i’ll have a little more from now on… Today i got my Driving License Finnally 8->

And… I started posting again on FanaticGamer (a forum of gaming), besides that i’m design-ing some stuff in photoshop for a project that i’m in with a friend of mine, i will add news as soon as we have something done

Soo… I participated in 2008 at Earth Hour, closed the electricity in the house and got outside… But the sadness was that Romanians didn’t heard in 2008 of EarhHour, now it’s 2009, and all the mass-media heard about it… Yeah a little late (earth hour is here from 2007), but better later than never… Earth Hour represents our unity against Global Warming… Seriously!  Recycle! Is one of the youngest browsers there is. Google launched the first “UNBETA” version in December, since then they have continued to release fixes and upgrades to that version. But there is a time when you have to move on… Move to the next level. So a week ago they launched a new BETA of Google Chrome. If you didn’t tried Google Chrome until this day, you should. It’s a very elegant browser and very fast indeed. The main disadvanteg it has (that also makes me to stay at Mozilla Firefox 3) is that the Google Chrome doesn’t support the capability of extensions… And i am a little obssesed with this extensions, they really make the internet a better place for me. I have 7 addons that i use a lot… The addons are: Download Statusbar, Fast Video Download, FIREBUG!! (ESSENTIAL), FireFTP (a very usefull one indeed), Greasemonkey, Sothink SWF Catcher and View Cookies and besides that i have some more which i use but not so often

If Google Chrome had the capability for addon support, it would have passed Mozilla Firefox instantly. I have both browsers now… I wanted to test the new Google Chrome… Which has a far better speed improvement than the last one (Especially at JavaScript loading – that’s a WOW), additional browsing tools such as basic form autofill, full page zoom, autoscroll, and a new way for tabs I like tabs I think everybody does.

So… JavaScript loading is very interesting, i really wanted to see how it compares with Mozilla and i found the best place for it! Indeed… I think it pushes Google Chrome a little closer to Mozilla’s #1 position :d

That place is called Google Chrome Experiments, a webpage full of Javascript experiments a set of visualizations, some games and other Javascript related stuff. And yes, i tried the website with both Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox 3, and the differences really come outside… Google Chrome beeing so much faster than Mozilla. An experiment that i consider not only very good looking, very realisting, and a very smart ideea is the Google Gravity Experiment made by Hi-ReS! (weird nickname ideed)… If you don’t wanna go to the website you can look at a little movie here:

So as a final ideea… If you are still using Internet Explorer you should really get Google Chrome or if you are using Mozilla Firefox 3 but you’r not so obssesed with all your addons, you can give Google Chrome a try!

And no, I’m not getting any money from Google after I wrote this “review”!
